So the fiance is getting me a Chanel J12 for Christmas, the hard part has been picking one out! Do any of you out there own a J12, what are your thoughts? Wrist photos? Which size do you prefer? I'm currently looking at the 38 and the 41 both in black. I have fairly small wrists, but I love the oversize watch look! Please let me know what you think!

I have the J12, in white, with a diamond bezel. 33mm, but I have a small wrist. I LOVE the black with the ruby markers...stunning!

I love the white on other people, but on me, it looks odd, I don't know if it's because I"m Asian and I have a yellow tint to my skin hence it reflects off the ceramic and then I have a yellowish watch! ;-)

I'm attaching the two I'm considering. The 38cm J12 doesn't have any gemstone markers, which is fine with me. The 41cm has diamond markers.

It seems the consensus is the 38 in black! I have to admit, I liked that size best on my wrist. Now, I talked to my SA at Saks today and he said that I can order it with gemstone markers or even with the diamond encrusted bezel. Do any of you have any issues with the stones in your J12(s)? Has one ever fallen out? I'm an I need to wear a watch all the time type of person and I don't want my level of activity to effect the stones.

I have 33mm white with diamond markers and 33mm black with diamond bezel. I have tiny wrists, so for me I'm ok with the 33mm. The 38 felt too heavy for my personal preference and I also feared the big watch look would die out and I'd be stuck with a 6-7k outdated watch. But I'm sure many ladies will continue to wear their watches for years to come b/c they love the style, in fashion or not. So seems to me you will be happier with the 38mm :smile1:

I have had absolutely NO issues with the diamond bezel and I wear my black J12 a great deal.

38 in black with either with gemstone markers or diamond encrusted bezel would sound lovely! Let us know what you decide on with pics! :yahoo: Early congrats! And what a sweet fiance you have.

I have the white 38mm with diamond markers & luv it, I get so many compliments when I wear it, there fantastic watches & so hard wearing, looks as new today as the day I got it & its 2 years old, but I sometimes wish I had got the black 1 instead it always looks so classy, I think the white 1 is a bit more casual looking.

What a lovely Xmas gift!! You will enjoy it... I have 38mm white with diamond makers and I love it...
I live with sunshine24/7/365 so white looks fab..black would be super during winter though.
