Hello, I am new to chanel thread... but i hope to get some advice here from experienced tpfers. TIA

I am heading to berlin next week and I am looking forward to visit the stores there. Is it relatively easy to buy classic jumbo ghw and woc or we have to wait list.
I am really fearful of bad SA/service....

Also, just to make sure there are no chanel stores in Berlin and frankfurt airport (did a search on store locator but negative results).

In Berlin "KADEWE Mall" is a Chanel store, it has the best stock in Germany and the service is great!!! In Frankfurt you have to go to the "Goethestraße", but Berlin has nicer SAs. There is no waiting lists like in the US. I wish you luck.

Berlin has the best stock in Germany, the SAs are nice and competent. The store is located in the KADEWE mall. In Frankfurt you have to go to Goethestraße, there is a boutique. I habe Bern there twice looking for a mini in caviar leather black with ghw. There is no waiting list. I hope you get what you want. 😊

Unfortunately, they can't do phone orders not just because of the local currency and bank info but because your friend would have to pay for it with her card + passport in order to receive the tax refund. The tax refund process is inflexible in that sense. The tax refund is only processed to person purchasing in-store with his/her passport. She'd have to do everything in her name and you'd have to pay her back.

As far as the SA's in Berlin. The most you could do is call 24 hrs ahead, check for availability and ask them to hold it for you (or her). They certainly do 24 hr holds but beyond that they can't do much else unless you're a known local client.

I've encountered bad SA's there so many times and nearly never go there anymore unless I really want something and happen to be in the area.
Brussels Chanel store is way nicer and doesn't behave like they are some superior human beings.

I am in the process in placing my an order with her. So I thought I'd ask any experiences, as I've never used a personal shopper before. The bag that I'm looking is also sokd out worldwide but manage to get one.

Visited Chanel KaDeWe today and I must say the inventory and service is really good. My SA is very patient to show me all the different bags and she even offered drinks to me and DH. I managed to get all I wanted 😊 I told my SA that I am not heading back to hotel yet so she offer to deliver my purchase to my hotel so I don't have to lug it around. I am so happy! Thank you everyone in this thread especially ccloveslv 😙

I'm glad you got everything you wanted!! I'm going to Berlin in 3 Werks I hope I get a Chanel medium/large flap bag with ghw.
