Can someone explain the sizes for the flap bags for me? I heard that the reissues and the classics are slightly different in size. For example, the medium reissue is bigger than the classic large?? So confusing. I heard that in the classic, they have 4 sizes (giant, large, medium and mini). Does anyone have the large size classic and if so, do you think it's roomy enough?

The Classic Flap Bag comes in three sizes:

Small - 9" W x 5.5" H x 2" D - $2,295.00 for Caviar + $100.00 more for lambskin

Medium - 10" x 6" x 2.5" - $2,395.00 Caviar + $100.00 more for lambskin

Jumbo - 12" x 8" x 3" - $2,650.00 Caviar + $100.00 more for lambskin

The sizes for the Reissue 2.55:

A302224: - The Baby 7.5 W x 5.75 H x 1.75 D inches $1795

A302225: - Small 9.75" x 7.06" x 2.16" $2,250.00

A302226: - Medium 11" x 8" x 2.5" $2,695.00

A302227: - Large 12.25" x 9.18" x 2.5" $2,850.00

A302228: - The X-Large aka Jumbo 14.2" x 9.8" x 3" $3,495.00

In the past, Chanel had made a true medium size classic flap, which was slightly bigger than the large size classic flap. The retail price of the medium was $100 more than the large. Presently, there is no true medium classic flap. Instead, the former large classic flap is now known as either the medium classic flap or large classic flap. Some even call it the medium/large classic flap. It's confusing. Chanel will probably bring back the true medium classic flap in the future, you never know. :smile1:

Thanks for the very quick response. Sorry if this is a repeat question. I'm new and still learning how this wonderful forum works :o) Who knew there were equally obsessed and crazy baglovers like me out there
