FYI: Not sure if this will help your decision-making, but I bought a pair of plain gold CC chain logo earrings a while ago and the gold-tone metal used really bothered my sensitive skin/earlobes. I also own the simple CC pearl logo necklace and leather CC logo brooch and the quality is OK (not worn daily). I agree with everyone that fine jewellery is money better spent (I personally like Gucci 18K rose/white gold fine jewellery).
