But on vacation I found fantastic SAs in Vegas & now it’s so much easier to get what I want. (You’re not far from Vegas… it’s just a thought). I had a Chanel purchase history so it was easy. If you don’t have a purchase history, maybe just get a card case or scarf or something & then you can look on the recommended SA thread & literally buy from anywhere in America.

Thanks! That is a really good idea. I got 5 bags from 21a and so my SA has ~finally started to communicate better with me. Fingers crossed I find this flap! Not sure if it’s my SA or my luck at this point. I’m going to Amsterdam this fall and hopefully will have better luck there

ETA: I see your response above and you’ve purchased recently and have a SA so disregard the note below. You definitely need a new SA if you’ve driven to the store 10xs to end up being empty handed. That should be a quick text to help you avoid the run around. *faints*

Hopefully this info can help someone else. Being new again (it’s been 6!years since I last bought Chanel and things have changed greatly) the one thing you should do is get a sales associate to avoid driving to the store for nothing.

I’m not sure how things work where you are but the Chanel here in Houston always has a freaking long line/wait and it’s a 50 minute drive for me so randomly showing up is a no-no. Call main Chanel’s number and tell them the store that you are looking to go to and have them to make an appointment for you with a sales associate.

My first appointment was a meet and greet basically. I explained to my sa that it’s been a long time since I’ve purchased, I have no clue how things work and that I was still reeling from the sticker shock . I told her I may be good for about 2-3 bags and some slgs a year and whatever else info I could think that would be helpful.

She put my name on the list for two colors for this 21B run. She told me it would be about 3 weeks that I’d see a charge. It was actually a week and a half lol. She text me a pic and told me to come pick up my new baby.
When I picked up my bag I was able to put my name on the list for a chevon 2.55 in light iridescent purple for the upcoming 21k as well!

I’m an any kind of pink person so it seems Chanel run pink every release. For me it was a lot easier my first try but I’m not sure about gold. The only way to know without playing find the bag is to get an sa (or 2) to work with. Good luck and hopefully this info helps!

I hear you. I was ready for the
Med cf in burgundy…my boutique didn’t order it. :sad: My SA said maybe for 21K, but like you, I’ll only get it in caviar.
