Got it a week ago for the bday! The straps are stitched on and not magnetic. I believe they are there more for cosmetic reasons. The classic CC turnlock is what’s holding the flap. Very much like a single flap CF but with a twist. :)

I love it! The chain is not heavy at all. I assume it’s plated aluminum/titanium alloy or similar metals and dipped in clear PVC coating to protect the aged gold look bc you could totally mistake the top handle as plastic with how light it is. The top handle doesn’t add much weight, feels lighter than the crossbody chains on classic WOCs, and is about the same weight as a leather strap in swift from H. The long crossbody strap is probably the same weight (or slightly lighter? I can only estimate their weights with my hands) as the chains on CF/2.55. The metal section is only slightly heavier than the leather part of the crossbody strap.

There are also loops for each of the strap, so you can put the strap into the loop for added security. The loops are kind of hidden under the straps.

Unfortunately I don’t have a mod shot since it’s a bday gift and we don’t live together… The chain is long enough for crossbody but shorter than the chain on a WOC if I remember correctly. The inside is more like the Boy bag with tonal fabric lining. But it also has the interlocking CC on the flap like their classic handbags. I’m just gonna put two official photos from Chanel here as references and hopefully it can help a little… As you can see they also have a tweed version. The aged calf is still pretty soft, I have to say.
