I bought the black version on Wednesday. It's a good size for me (I posted pics on page 102 I think)
It's a little long on me (bag sits past my hip) when I wear the bag on one shoulder, but when I wear it crossbody, it sits just fine. Since you're 5'8", it'll probably look better on you if you wear it on one shoulder.
I prefer lambskin in general but also like caviar when the colours turn out well on it. Personally, I’m a huge fan of burgundy. Burgundy is my black. I will not sell 21A even if I get 21B, but will only get the latter if the burgundy tone is very much different/darker. Based on some pictures posted earlier, 21B under sunlight looks similar to 21A indoors, as the red tone really shows then. Will wait for more photos of yours!
Based on what I’ve read in ibm this forum previously, not so much of an issue for iridescence since it is mixed into the dye and not a coating on the leather

There is a faint scratch on the turnlock though, not sure if I should be bothered or it's inevitable / part of brushed gold charm (where it looks like its been through hell brand new). I think I can live with it, what do you guys think?

Looks great on you! I can hardly tell the scratch on the turnlock. I don’t know about yours, but mine has some indentation on the back side. I keep telling myself not to get bothered because it’s hard to find another one. The leather on this is definitely much softer than the black 19 I have.
I went to the boutique in Chicago, looking for a classic flap with gold hardware. They told me they arepractically sold out everywhere, put me on the waitlist, and told me to check out Neiman Marcus. They of course didn’t have it, but they kept throwing the 21b so black lambskin classic flap in my face. She is certainly a beauty! I haven’t seen anyone mention this bag yet. What do you guys think? I don’t have a boutique near me, so I don’t know if I should snag it while I’m here or not.
I tend to obsess over these things, but for some reason (probably because the bag is squishy/creasy and the hardware is aged on day one) I may be able to overlook this time. Really happy I went for the lighter grey!

I would get the so black. But that’s me because I love lambskin and BHW. Get the one you love and will be able to use a lot!
