ohhh thank you for pointing this out! I am learning so much from this forum! I was getting all excited too, but will probably pass bc of silver hardware. Anyways, my NM SA said they can only reserve for Elite clients now, and I am still waiting to hear back from my stand alone SA. But I feel that my Chanel days are numbered now, as I likely won't be able to secure these hard to find bags without reserving. It is just so chaotic trying to get a bag after launch. Oh well, I am trying to look at this glass half full...maybe something good will still come out LOL

I have 2 that I have my eye on! If I don’t have a regular SA, what’s the best way for me to try to get a bag that I want? Do I need to get on a waitlist? Call their customer service? I live in NYC and near several Chanel stores. Should I try my luck there?

You’re welcome! Yes, I’m starting to get tired of this whole thing. I’m going to take a break and purchase other brands. I called Dior to get a tote from last season. The sa connected me to a store that had one left instantly. The call transferred and the sa answered the phone!! I paid for my bag and it will be here tomorrow. All those hardware letters and descriptions are interesting and confusing. I saw a “MB” as well, so if “MW” is silver (white), does MB mean ruthenium? Or actual black?

I believe “MB” is black metal and “MR” is ruthenium metal.

Yes, new small is the old medium, new mini is the old small, there is no medium now just the large... - I don't know why they keep changing those sizes. I'm also surprised that BAs are with gold hw, not champagne gold? Or maybe it's not as specific here.

You’re welcome! Yes, I’m starting to get tired of this whole thing. I’m going to take a break and purchase other brands. I called Dior to get a tote from last season. The sa connected me to a store that had one left instantly. The call transferred and the sa answered the phone!! I paid for my bag and it will be here tomorrow. I need this level of ease when shopping lol. Or maybe not. The lack of ease limits my buying. Glass half, right?!

I also would love an easier route to getting the things you want. Even with the ability to reserve you still have to get 3-6 months ahead of the curve. You have to work way too hard to research, stalk the forum or IG for any sneak peak of an image, and then reach out to your SA many months ahead of launch just for the ”privilege” of dropping $10K. Buying Chanel these days can be as competitive as trying to get acceptance to an Ivy League college lol. Chanel says they want to bring the experience back to their customers. I don’t find this experience luxurious.

I’m completely with you on this. I’ve never had to work so hard for someone to take my money lol. I’m realizing I can’t buy Chanel as my primary go to so I can avoid becoming more frustrated. It’s like having a a part time job that I have to pay to have Don’t get me started on that light pink cf flap that’s now being cancelled but still no communications from Chanel

Hi all, I’m interested in this small Leboy in grey. It is carvier leather in chevron and the code is B08781. I bought the chevron leboy in carvier from 22S but the code is B07913. I am eyeing way too many things from the 22B collection x_x I probably won't be able to reserve anything since I've only purchase a Classic flap so far but I'm going to try! Chevron mini & Small BA... my wallet is coming for you! hopefully :x
