I just saw the mini flap in iridescent black in Paris and I agree about the purple and grey vibe depending on the light. Amazing bag IRL!!

Saw the new mini BA backpack yesterday and was extremely disappointed with the caviar quality. It’s sooooo soft that doesn’t offer any support to the bag. I took the stuffing out and the bag just became a puddle...couldn’t stand up on its own at all.
Very tempted by this one but concerned about the high maintenance lol

How is the cariviar leather for this medium BA? IS it soft or hardy? thanks
I know, I was trying to make it work but sending mine back. Want an everyday backpack but for the price felt it was too squishy, and the flap was slightly crooked (most wouldn’t notice) but those things drive me crazy, especially on backpacks. The BA backpacks have been soft like this for a long time though. At one point the caviar was more rough and textured so the bag had a bit more structure.
The caviar is tooooo soft. The flap, the top chain plus the front pocket all add weight to the bottom which makes the bag look like a puddle. You made a wise decision to send it back imho.
I think so too. At these prices the bag has to check all the boxes. There seems to be a good amount of backpacks coming but I always wonder why they’re often made in lamb.
I was lucky enough to score this beautiful boy yesterday so thought to share it with everyone! Although I think this "small" size I got is the old medium size..? Nonetheless, I'm happy..

For anyone on the fence about the mini ba, here are 2 photos, one with the stuffing inside and the other completely empty. I can’t even remember which is which. My rec is to go try it in person as clearly there are quality control issues but you might get one that doesn't turn into a puddle with nothing inside!
