Lining up on launch day? That sounds crazy coming from Chanel, considering how slow their stock trickles into stores now days. Will the SA let you know for sure that their store will have the item(s)?
Lol exactly. Luckily I live close to the store and its in a NM in the suburbs so hoping it won't be chaotic. She said to text her when I arrive so hope this means I won't be waiting in line? There is only 1 of the item I want coming and she wasn't able to tell me what day it would arrive. Best of luck to everyone lol!

Has anyone been told this season you have to go to the store when they say the new season launches. I have been shopping for years and I don't think this is what Chanel is going for. I can't go as I work and I feel like this is not safe as the flippers will probably go line up and we will be out of luck for the bags we want still. This does not seem helpful to customers and it feels like Walmart on Black Friday.
Yes. I had to do this. It's just that I lucked up and found out the item I was interested in was definitely at this boutique and I reserved and set up a appointment for the launch day.

I don't think Sa are confirming what they are getting in on launch day until the day of launch. It's ridiculous because I'm told no pictures or videos will be sent out until seven days after launch. Some boutiques are getting some items in now before the launch.

Oooh thanks for the info!! I'm going to text my SA today to see if it is still there. I couldn't go yesterday and so I am hoping I did not wait too late!
Dying to hear your thoughts. My SA keeps sending me pics trying to tempt me but I'm on Ban Island trying to convince myself the pics are lying to my eyes and the color probably stinks IRL hahahahaah

I think 22s dark pink is closer to MS. 22B looks more like 22c light beige according tho these pics imo.

I don’t think I will be able to make it to the store tomorrow and I think waiting until Wednesday when I can go will be pushing it. My SA has specifically said she can’t ship classics although I’m in the same city and I’ve bought the bulk of my purchases from that store. My local NM didn’t let ANY one reserve the classics this season. I was the first one she called when they got the shipment in
Oh wow.. is your SA from a stand alone store? I was asking my SA in standalone boutique for the mini iridescent black in mini yesterday and SA sold me remotely and shipped to my home. I didn’t wanna ask about the existing policy anymore i just said thank you.

I a
My SA let me reserve for 22A, but when I texted her the other day about 22B she said I could no longer reserve and would have to go to the store. Interestingly she said the first week is first come first serve, and after that they can charge your cc directly when an item comes in (but not during the first week). Has anyone else heard this? Not sure if this is just non-VIP policy. Seems like the rules are varying dramatically.
I am no way a vic but i have been w shopping w this SA a couple of years now. I was charged yesterday for the mini iridescent black and was shipped to my home. I also can reserve for the following season from what i know. Not sure if this will change in the future. I feel it depends on your store. If the store is busy and has lots of clients anyway they can afford i feel to be strict. But some i think can be sort of lenient. It puzzles me how they choose to implement their policies

She’s with NM. I’m noticing NM policies differ from the standalone. I haven’t tried to get shipping from the local standalone so idk if there’s changed or not.

Some countries require you to line up on launch day to try to get what you want. Such as Hong Kong and Canada. In Canada, line up starts as early as 6am and in the freezing cold outside the store.
