Hearing about others ordering experiences worldwide is interesting and I hope you all get what you ordered. To order in Dubai, well what I had to do anyway, was let the Chanel beauty SA know what I wanted, then she sent me a link to pay online. I got my items the next day with free delivery which was nice. With the Chanel website here, we could see the Factory 5 items online but next to all of them it said phone your nearest Chanel store to order. Also I don't think we got the washi tape here or the complimentary poster either.

They will not restock online boutique. Contacted Client Care earlier this week. Unless someone returns something, then it might pop up online

I am sorry to hear that.. that seems unfair especially for clients like you who were able to purchase on time..

For example I did it with the LV Game On collection (but that is tissue paper inside so it's very thin) And I think I will use a black square frame on this Chanel one. The only thing I am worried about is these IKEA frames can split at the edges over time, if the item you place inside the frame is too thick. So I will keep you all posted on how I go and if this happens to me again.

Edit: @ka3na20 may I please ask what frame will you use? I am worried the IKEA frames I use for my other DIY fashion art, that this chanel face clothes width will split the frame in the corners over time. I tried to frame a tea towel once and this is what happened to me. Any advice appreciated x

I love this! Do you mind giving me the size dimensions of the towel? I haven't opened up my mystery box yet but I'm thinking of ordering a shadowbox frame like what you did!

Ugh! So any of the random items that have appeared in stock on the site over the past week have only been from cancelled orders/returns?

i’m so sorry for those who had their orders cancelled :sad: seems like its been happening to a lot of people on the facebook group pages as well..

side note for anyone who is still wondering, i just watched a saks SAs ig story of one of their meetings. they were informed that for 5 item purchases they will give a netted bag, and for 3 item purchases they will give EITHER the candles or the cupcake toppers and that all 3 gifts with purchases are until supplies last. of course we’ve seen this vary between individuals (depending if you bought online, if you bought through a SA, at a chanel beauty boutique, etc.) but this is just what was informed to Saks employees specifically

I think it depends which Saks you buy from, I was told 3 item minimum! I think that maybe they are running out of items so they upped the limit.

I was wondering about that, thanks for posting the response you got! I’ve been stalking the website and I did see the bath tablets come back in stock for a couple minutes, I think just like you said if someone returns something or if someone’s order gets canceled due to 2 order limit it pops back on website. But this late in the game I doubt much will be changing on the Chanel website. Same with Saks. But some Saks stores that just started selling yesterday still have stock!

Depends where you are I think. That was from the Chanel Canada online boutique.

Hi @ChanelCanuck cheers and no problems at all. I had quite a few people asking me in my IG DMs the same question as you regarding the size (I've been posting all my Factory 5 stuff on my stories the last few days). Here's all the info you should need...

So basically it's measures 27-28 cm on all four sides as although it's a square it's not a perfect square if you get my meaning.

I was hoping to use the IKEA Sannahed in the black colour, but might go for 35cm x35cm size one to be safe, link here...

My worry is if I use the 25cm frame size, it might be a touch too small, thus you're kind of shoving in the face cloth to fit it inside the frame and then that can warp the frame at the corners over time. I learnt my lesson when framing a tea towel once, a few months later the IKEA frame corners coating started pulling apart.
