Random question, I always thought the Chanel logo on the inside, always had the R in a circle trademark symbol. But looking at some of the new star bags some of them don't? I presumed these ones were fake, but when I zoomed in and squinted (lol) on the official Chanel page, at the gold star bag, it really looked like it wasn't there? (screenshot is not from the official page, from somewhere else I would normally trust)

Decided to purchase this rainbow clutch on chain! It's so pretty but I'm just debating if I can "justify" it since it's more of an evening bag & I have so many evening bags (mini squares, rectangle etc) yet I don't go out all that much sadly LOL! It's shoulder only (not crossbody)..& doesn't hold all that much.. Thoughts? The struggle is real! Thx

Just fyi, this is solely my opinion and I don't mean to offend in any way, just want to offer another perspective.
I tried this on the other day as I am a lover of rainbow colors. And I wanted to love it, but it felt kind of tacky to me, I think there is too much going on for a Chanel bag, plus I don't like the little pendants/thingies in the chain.
But I also have changed my style a bit and a few years ago, I surely would have bought it.
I don't really see it as an evening bag. There are really cute alternatives every season for evening bags and you already have a few. Plus it would really limit the times you would wear it.
But you obv love it, so you have to do what your heart desires. Wishing you all the best.

I agree with @MiSa2019 that it could come across as tacky, but I also think that depends on how you wear it and on who's judging it (I for one think it's fabulous and so much fun but I know my mom who's more conservative would not agree). If I owned this bag I'd wear it with a white t-shirt and jeans on a sunny day, out at lunch with my gals. I think it's a little too wild for me to wear as an evening bag but it totally depends on your wardrobe. I think it's so unique and fun that if I was in your position and I could afford to keep it, I would. But then again, 80% of the bags I own are beautiful but never used so maybe I'm not the best person to give this advice

thank you so much for your perspective; no offense taken & I love to hear all different opinions. Yeah it prob is better for a spring brunch with jeans vs evening now that I think about it...I usually carry a lot so I'd have to downsize. But that being said, the charms on the chain are actually my favorite part prob b/c I'm a little girl at heart & love those types of things even though they can be perceived as tacky to others LOL! I think in a bigger size like the larger $6300 version, it would be too much but b/c it's small, I feel like I can get away with it even though I'm 53 ha! In any event, I"m leaning towards keeping it b/c I don't want to regret not getting it down the road & it's the last one in the country..
