Is the XXL the same as the airline flap? Can’t tell from pics if it’s just an extra large everyday bag or meant for travel!

I think the airline flap has a more relaxed silhouette. The one I saw looked essentially like a very large classic flap!
It is meant for travel but also could just be a very large everyday bag. It has a pocket on the back that you can unzip and slide over your suitcase handle.

I see many of you are talking about the very large flap bag! I first saw it on purseforum and asked to see it on private viewing day. It’s big enough to fit my MacBook Pro and is the comparable size to my workhorse, Saint Laurent LouLou large bag.
Sure it’s big but didn’t feel too absurdly big like the old airline xxl flag bag - I saw a few ladies on the streets of nyc wearing it out as a daily bag and always thought that one looked too big. I wasn’t really supposed to shop but I couldn’t stop thinking about it overnight so had to get it!! Also was tempted to get a black square mini but went with the “maxi” flap bag instead (that’s what they called it on the tag) since I’m expecting a first baby soon & I know it doesn’t make sense at all but I’m using an excuse to get this as a “diaper bag”! Lol don’t worry I prob have a separate canvas bag for dirty diapers lol

Yes! Saw the 22 mini rainbow hardware in white and purple (and possible teal) yesterday at the NYC 57th Street Boutique
I saw it today and although very beautiful it’s no where near as big as my xxl airline flap. It’s very light but I would say it’s just slightly larger than a maxi flap and much lighter in construction. It’s very structured and boxy and sticks out when held compared to the xxl flap which is slouchy so can be worn more naturally given its size. I passed on this even though I did like the caviar leather
Would you mind elaborating how much smaller it is? Do you prefer one over the other if you could choose? I have a friend willing to sell her airline for a similar price so wondering which I want to invest into
