unfortunately the only pic I saw of this bag was the stock photo posted earlier in the thread. reserve price was $4000, but my SA made it a point to include that it may change upon release. I don't know if it's a tight weave, my plan was just to see it in person on release, and if I don't like I will cancel the reservation.

Are the chevrons all in smooth calfskin or are there some in grained calfskin and what sizes are they coming in black?

The Chevron classic flaps come in lambskin, not calfskin or grained calfskin (caviar). Also, they do not come in black.
