I did and retuned it. I hated the shade AND the caviar. I did get the pink and green 20c jumbos instead tho!

Hi dear!!! Very curious to hear your thoughts... what was it about the caviar that you hated?? I am about to purchase my first caviar CF (22P Red small size) .... do you just prefer lambskin? Love your taste so dying to hear your feedback.

Hi everyone, I need a little help here. I’m thinking of getting this chevron small classic flap. It’s however made of smooth calfskin which I am not familiar with. It is definitely not as buttery and smooth as lambskin, but feels sturdier. My concern is how it will age with time, as I notice due to the drier texture, there is already some wrinkling. Does anyone know how smooth calfskin will age? Will it get more wrinkles? I’ve enclosed pictures I took in the boutique of the bag and also close ups of the already-present wrinkles. Any insight is appreciated, thanks!
Hi! This is my 17C dark beige chevron calfskin mini. Very very sturdy and no wrinkles at all.

Hi there!! Congrats on your first cf purchase! I think the proportions of the small cf are best, by the way!

As far as caviar goes, I love the caviar that appears supple, large grained and a bit shiny! Some seasons, the caviar (to me) can be dull, thin, matte and dry looking (it can pull next to the CC clasp). It's just a matter of preference!

Here's a good comparison:

Ahhhh I totally get it! I have experienced the same thing with Togo!
I will def ensure the red caviar is not dry or pulling. I sooo prefer the shiny caviar! Thanks for the tips!!!

Ladies and gents, LOOK at these beautiful shades!!!

I am heavily researching 22C light beige (this is what I usually do before purchasing) and came across this beautiful photo. It was under the tag #chanel22c.

I posted a comment inquiring but no response yet.

Can you guys identify each shade? :woot:

I would say from left to right:
22C light beige, 21C rose clair and 21S rose clair

Another guess would be L to R:

21S dark beige or 19B?!?! , 22C light beige and 21C rose clair

Edited to say, I’ll stick to my original guess above :roflmfao:
