This is just hilarious lololol. Definitely feels like it's a better decision to buy an Hermes Kelly/Birkin than a wooden Chanel bag for that price.
From what I know, the vanity case will come back 21k with top handle and 22c without. So the pearl version might not come back. I think you should still be able to get one this season?
There’s still some time till the next collection. If you really want to get one, you can try contacting CS and see if they can connect you with boutiques that may have it in stock.

I'm a pretty n00by Chanel purchaser but I'm nervous to ask bc one user earlier on in the year had their SA say lists are all full, is there any point or shall I have a go? Do I wait until November and see if I can get lucky on the floor?
I went to the Chanel in Selfridges early June to ask about the pastel purple/blue shades and they said to come back another time.

no reason to be nervous, SAs are there to help you and if they say no then try a different SA
some will be more open to getting you on a list while others may already have a dedicated list of vip customers so they may not be as proactive for you.Oooh ok, so try another SA in the same store or visit another boutique? I’ve also been trying to buy a classic flap and they will not put me on a reserve list. I have to keep checking weekly until they have one in stock
What shade is the mini you’re after? Is there no reserve or have they closed it?
I may be confused with seasons but I’m after the lighter pastel colours eg light green, light purple, the peachy orange, light pink, light blue and gorgeous light yellow
They told me they don’t have a reserves list. So I asked if I can give them my wishlist instead. They said “We haven’t got waiting lists for the Act 2 collection, so we cannot confirm if we are receiving any of those bags in Harrods yet. Please kindly check this with us in late August/early September.”
