I am gonna do the same. I do not mind lambskin, I have a wok and love it, and a reissue in calfskin. I am think in the navy, as the other 2 I got are black. Any ideas of the kind of navy?

Initially I wanted the caviar but I know chances are slim, a SA at Selfridges said Chanel is perhaps limiting its availability. I thought I shouldn't wait anymore and just get the lamb one, can't bear another price increase...

Lamb is really not so bad! And it looks prettier than caviar. I will actually recommend getting small bags in lamb so you get enjoy the luxurious soft leather. It’s easier to maintain a small bag in lamb. Once you go up to medium and bigger, It’s so much more expensive I then go for caviar

I agree the lamb looks a lot more luxurious but people keep saying don't get lamb for your first Chanel. That's why I waited for 2 seasons (I think) to see if I can get a caviar, but now I just don't wanna wait! The lamb does feel super soft and beautiful, I guess I will just have to baby it a bit more (that's IF I can get one haha).
