Both are pretty! Have you got a chance to actually put your belongings into both bags?
I am asking because I tried on the new Trendy CC ( baby pink one ) vanity, and found it’s very difficult to open the zipper and get things in and out. The zipper goes all the way around, there’s no way I can open/close the bag without putting it on a surface. It definitely needs both hands working together to open/close the zipper, which means you need to put the bag down somewhere to do so. I also tired wearing the bag crossbody to see if it would be easier to handle. But NO! If you fully open the zipper, the bag body would “drop down” because the strap is connected to the “lid”, which costed me lots of trouble zipping up the bag. I needed to use my lap to push up the bag body and hold it in place and then I can use both hands to fully zip it up. Or I need to put the bag on a table to hold it in place to zip up.

But the square shaped vanity case is a totally different story ( the coral one in your pic ). I have a black/beige vanity case and I loooove it! The zipper is smooth and I can handle the zipper using just one hand.
Therefore, I vote for the square vanity case for functionality.

it's different but still wearable. I have a trendy cc but i never use it.
