I’m surprised boutique still has the solid flap one. Is it an old stock or do they carry this style in current collection? I agree with you to go for the leather lined. Good luck deciding.

My SA sent me a photo of a green version with the solid flap but she said she had it in black. I’m not sure from which season it is. I should know more once I see it in person. I think she had it in medium but I was deciding between the large.

Hi ladies! I have been eyeing on a grey or black BA. However, I have trouble deciding on whether to get a small or medium. I have not had an opportunity to try one on, so I need your help. Just for reference, I’m 5”2, 102 lbs. I have heard the medium has longer strap than the small, and that it might be too long for me. Also, I’m bit sure if the medium size might be too big for me. What do you think? Do you have any mod shots to share? Thanks!

Here is a modeling shot! I am 5'3 between 105 and 110lbs. I do have 3.5 inch heels on in this picture, but I love the medium size even when I am wearing flats! I love that I can comfortably wear the bag crossbody. It is long when it is on the shoulder, but given the crossbody option, I still prefer it to the small. Also, it can hold everything I need and I find the small size a little big too small for daily use. HTH

Thank you so much for your response and the mod shot! May I ask the strap drop for your bag and what season? The reason I’m asking is because I heard the strap length is slightly different from one season to the next.

I purchased this one in March of this year. But I have it in 4 colors and the strap drop is the same on all four....I purchased the grey in October 2019 and the burgundy in August 2019. I also have the black from 2018 and that one might be slightly shorter, but not enough to notice. Strap drop 19 to 20 inches. Hth

Some photos from the Chanel store of the black medium and grey small! These are from 2019.
I have one from 2018 and the strap length seems to be the same for me. At my height, I prefer the small over the medium. The small sits at the perfect place as crossbody, whereas the medium feels a bit too long on me (although not so long that it looks too awkward).

I ended up purchasing a medium with some regrets. I end up using it as a tophandle most of the time just because the strap is not super comfortable for my height. Personally I prefer the small!
