Chanel at Nordstrom, Valley Fair, San Jose, CA

With the Chanel boutiques set to open next month inside Nordstrom at the Valley Fair Mall, San Jose, I think we are ready for a thread. There will be a handbag boutique on Nordstrom's first floor and a clothing boutique upstairs, I believe on the second floor.

Is there any word of opening festivities? Tickets to a special event? Please share here if you know anything.

I'm so excited about it! I haven't heard anything so far either. I'll be there tomorrow and will try to find something out, if I do I'll share it here.

The wait has been long. It will be interesting for the opening. It's a bit too late for me as I've cut back on Chanel over the past 2 years. Still glad there will be a boutique in area vs a drive to Palo Alto or San Fran. Also, Celine is opening a new boutique just right outside of Nordstrom mall entrance.

I asked the manager today and he said it’s opening on March 2nd!

Looks like they also have a designer event on March 3rd. Going to be a lot of people there!!

A SA in designer bags Nordstrom VF told me today the Chanel event will be on 3/2 but she'll email me tonight or tomorrow the details. So we'll see what the date is etc....lol.

I had received a text about the opening date, and I was surprised because I haven't bought a bag from local Nordstrom in eons, plus I don't recognize the name, LoL. Happy it's finally opening! Anyone know if this location will be leased?
