I like the 19 for its capacity and as many have pointed out here, it’s a great bag for a casual outfit. The chain does feel a little heavy though. Personally I prefer the 19 with the silver hardware on the logo, as gold feels a little much. Here’s a photo of my 19 which I love

I’ve always had a soft spot for the black with silver hardware, it looks so cool and chic!

I have the caramel color in small size. I love it! It goes with a lot of my outfits and lifestyle. I have seen it in the wild as well. Whenever I see it, it looks so chic! I agree that it could be a little outdated but maybe in the luxury world. If you see it in the wild, you will see how nice it looks! I believe you should take bags if you absolutely love them. I do not think others opinion matters.

Yeah the Carmel is what made me fall for this bag! I wish they would bring it back! It's so functional, especially in that color because it goes so easily with everything. I was debating between 19 or a mini in caramel, the 19 just makes more sense. I can fit my glasses, sunnies, card holder, two phones, keys, lipsticks and even then have room to spare for a snack. I cannot leave the house without a snack, lol!!

Still love my dark grey 19. One of my most used, carefree Chanels. If you love it, it doesn't matter if it's on trend or outdated. It goes with my casual vibe, so it's in constant rotation. Still thinking about a caramel one like others in this thread. LOL.

I love the 19. I have 2 smalls: black goatskin and fabric graffiti print. They are my most used bags. I love how easy they are to carry, I love the tri tone hard wear. I’ve shoved diapers and wipes in there when out with my kids. I’ve had some kind of paint transfer to the black goatskin and I was able to use leather cleaner and it came right off. I don’t know why they’ve become less popular in the CC world when they’ve inspired every other design house to come up with their own version. They are not dated in the least: top handle carry or shoulder: this trend is still very current. You can also put the long chain inside and carry it as a clutch. I often think of adding a caramel 19 to my collection.
