Certification for exotics?

I do not know if I am posting this in the right place but I was offered a new Dior alligator bag. When I looked at the skin used I was concerned about the quality. The crocodile line runs a bit oddly across the bag. Does anyone have any thoughts or knowledge about the quality of the exotic skins Dior uses?
Thank you for your help.

You could start thread In the Dior forum, post a pic of said bag and ask what members think. This is not the right thread

If you’re dealing with exotics like croc or python, a CITES certificate is a must. The big brands—Dior, LV, Fendi—should always include it when you buy something, but I’ve heard stories of people not getting the proper paperwork, especially with older or secondhand items.
I am wondering if the certificate doesn’t include your name but another persons name is it still legit when traveling ? As someone might have bought it for you or it might be bought from someone else ? Any idea’s or experiences on this ?
