I feel like the velvet pouch is so much better and practical! It's extremely light and you don't have to worry about putting it in a small purse. The big ones are kind of hard to carry around and heavier. Of course, it still protects your sunnies too. Just my humble opinion

Just wanted to post my experience with Otticanet (I think someone else might have already posted it a couple times before a few pages back) if any of you are interested in purchasing through them.
I went through ebay to purchase the large audrey (the older cat-eye style) on 7/22, and Otticanet emailed me on 7/23 letting me know that they had ordered the sunglasses and it will take about 10-15 business days for them to get it from Italy and then another 2-3 business days for them to mail it to me (to the US).
I got a confirmation from them again on 8/4 (so about 10 days) indicating that they received the sunglasses and since it was a Saturday, they will be dispatching it on Monday and send me a shipping confirmation and tracking info.
And on Monday 8/6 I did receive a FedEx tracking number, the originating destination is Italy, and it only took 2 days to get here in the US, I just got FedEx delivered the sunglasses!!
So in my opinion, it is a bit of a wait, but in the end it was a very positive experience purchasing through them and the savings =)
Anyway, here are some pictures of the actual item, now its worth to note that I did only get the velvet celine pouch instead of a celine box. And there needs to be some adjustments made to the sunglasses so I probably have to take it to my local optical shop to get it adjusted.

Yeah the Prada sunnies are really nice as well. I included a photo so you can see the difference. I have the original Audrey's and I do have to say that the quality is just not that great. The arms are a little loose so I have to be really careful with them. And since I bought them at Selfridges I can't just pop into the store to get them fixed or exchanged which kinda bugs me. But anyways, they do look amazing

Last week I ordered the Celine Large Audrey glasses from Voguest for $340 and they arrived today. The first warning flag was that they were shipped from Shenzen, China. The second warning flag was that the customs form said the contents of the package was "case for phone." When I took them out of the package, there was no mistake - they were fake.
I took them to Neimans and Solstice and both places compared and said yes, they are fake. Luckily Solstice at Westfield San Francisco Centre had the black ones in stock. I have taken some pics. Below are the comparisons.
I have emailed Voguest.com to demand a full refund. If they refuse, I will just dispute with my credit card company. But I wanted to post here as well.

^^ Hi I'm not sure the ones from Voguest are actually fake. I think they are still selling the Celine sunnies from before Celine changed manufacturers. The ones you got from the store are made by Safilo (the new manufacturers).
If you look at photos earlier in this thread of the Large Audreys I think you'll find that the details match the one you got from Voguest. People have also commented that the ones from the old manufacturer (whose name I can't recall, sorry) weren't of the greatest quality, hence why Celine switched.
(and no I don't work for Voguest)

Just a word of caution on ordering from Otticanet. I ordered a pair of Audrey's which they shipped to me really fast. However I decided to return them and shipped them out on 11th July. On 16th July, the tracking status showed that it has arrived in Italy. However tilll now Otticanet claimed that they never received the sunglasses and they keep claiming that Italian customs holds items for quite some time. I don't know if I'd ever be getting the refund.
So I received them all, and I'm having such a tough time deciding what to keep. I'll start a thread with photos and a poll!

I know this post was a while ago, but I just stumbled on your nice comparison of celine sunglasses. I noticed you delted your modeling pics. Is there a chenace to look at them again? I am just torn between small audreys and cat eye models. I tried large audreys and they looked way too big on mee. The new squarish audrey were not flattering at alll either.
