After reading hearing the mixed reviews about otticante.com, I finally decided to take the plunge and order the large Audrey’s from them and hope for the best. I know some people on here had placed an order with them but had to wait 20 days to receive their sunglasses then decided to cancel the order and had trouble getting their money back. So I ordered the sunglasses on the 8th of this month and the tracking said they were picked up on the 12th and arrived at my house the 14th. I thought shipping was pretty fast considering they are coming from Italy. I didn’t have any problems with them at all.

They are authentic, at least they look pretty authentic to me the quality is really good and I compared them to the pictures here on tpf. I would suggest for those of you who can’t find them anywhere to maybe order them from otticanet.com. I will post picture up so you guys can see and judge for yourself.

I'm about to take the plunge and order from otticanet as well. Do you mind me asking if you paid $240 USD for the glasses? I know the glasses are $365 here in the states, so i mean the $240 price SOUNDS great, but i'm a little skeptical. Gosh i'm such a worry wart. :p

Yeah I got a tortoise pair in London in March but love mine so much I wanted black pair as well. But I bought a pair of Prada sunnies that are almost a one on one copy only slightly smaller, which actually fit my face shape better :) thanks though
I saw them for the first time in London, I still regret not buying a pair! I'll definitely buy a pair next month on my trip there! Oh I'll check into the Prada sunnies too, they're easier to buy here :smile1:

Yeah I paid $240 with shipping. I heard that fedex later sends you a bill for the duties but I haven't gotten one yet and just to make sure I asked them about that because on the website it says U.S.A customers don't pay customs or import duties and they said they will refund me if I do have to pay. So we'll see how that goes if I do get the bill.

Yeah the Prada sunnies are really nice as well. I included a photo so you can see the difference. I have the original Audrey's and I do have to say that the quality is just not that great. The arms are a little loose so I have to be really careful with them. And since I bought them at Selfridges I can't just pop into the store to get them fixed or exchanged which kinda bugs me. But anyways, they do look amazing ;)

^^I'm surprised you said that. I have the 1st edition Tortoise with green lens XL Audrey sunglasses and have found them to be very solid and well made. I love that the lenses are polarized too - helps so much with glare, especially when driving or near water.

I bought quite a few pairs from that first year of Celine sunglasses - I only wish I could have found the cat eyes in the brown smoke color. Oh well.

I know a few days have passed but I'll call Bergdorf's tomorrow to see if they still have some, so thanks! I'm actually considering the graphic pair instead.

Last weekend I also saw the large Audrey in black polarized at Saks Bal Harbour so you could give them a try too, if interested! :)
