Is there a proper way to put the Celine Box bag straps on? Whenever I try to adjust this there is always a gap/it doesn't lay flat which drives me insane lol! Or am I doing something wrong? Do I need to add holes to the strap?

Appreciate your help on this!

Yes, the straps are designed such that one side is slightly "longer" after lining up the holes. As she says, this is intentional so that when it lays on your shoulder, the curvature of the longer piece (on the outside) perfectly matches the shorter piece (on the inside).

The gap shouldn't be as large as it is in your photos; maybe try lining up the holes per this thread with a similar discussion and photos: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/celine-box-strap-issue.875405/

Thanks for sharing that thread. The holes are lined up with the clasps. Actually, the gap is only this big when I try to have the strap on a shorter setting (like shoulder bag length). Otherwise, it's fine and lays flat when worn when it's in the longer setting (similar to the pics in that thread).
