Does the press overestimate carat sizes of celebrity rings often? Or is it just that finger sizes + camera angles make rings look smaller in photos? For example, Keira Knightley’s ring is said to be 2 carats, but it looks more like 1, and Mila Kunis has a large stone but 5 carats seems like a big stretch? Just curious what you guys think!

This is a fascinating thread-although I love looking at the pictures the only ring I’d wear would be J Lo’s previous Blue diamond ring, although tbh I’d rather have a smaller stone with a more saturated Fancy Intense or Vivid colour, which over time would appreciate far more anyway.
Elisabeth Taylor’s Krupp is amazing, but I’m a coloured diamond specialist and am too small to wear 35 carats anyway..
Although Laurence Graff did say “A diamond can never be too big or vulgar”!
I’d like to think I speak for at least the majority of us , if not All , when I say that I’d rather have my Own rings than ANY in this thread..and I truly mean that, I love my jewellery, I plan on adding more to my collection, particularly rings, and I’m not jealous of any of the celebrities in this thread..

There is no way in hell I'd wear that ring or any of the other items of jewelry she has on, in the ocean! She doesn't have any meat on her bones, especially her hands, and that 20 ct bauble would slip off and never be seen again! Yea, it's probably insured out the wazoo, but still... why take the risk?
Mine’s not as massive as hers but not small and I wore it in the Florida and Mexico waters last month! If she’s traveling she may feel it’s safer on her hand than in the room/safe.
^ I don’t know if it’s on the list but my favorite is Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis. Her diamond and emerald ring from JFK is stunning.
