what would a sinker look like?
Forgive me for being indelicate but it's what happens to the face's fat layer as one ages. Some people's fat slide downward creating folds, jowls, bags, etc. While other ppl develop a sunken in, almost skeleton look, which I assume is due to fat loss, a thinning of the fat layer just under the skin.

now that you say that I can think of some people I've seen liked that...one women who claimed to be in her early to mid sixties but looked more like 80

well lucky me I am both a sinker AND sagger! I have lovely, saggy chicken neck, and jowels, and I notice my cheeks are a little sunken in, and the area above my upper link is also sunk in a bit.

As they say, growing old sucks, but it beats the alternative.

Or as a TPFer had/has under her postings,

"Even though the cost of living is high, it remains popular"

My memory is not great but I think that might be TPFer 'ame'

Oops IO just saw that I already commented on this, but hey, I expanded upon it!
