^^Really? I have a HUGE head and they work for me - in fact I have a hard time with glasses because my heads so darn large! LOL
It may also be my nose. But, yeah. My head's big, hahahaha. It's pretty sad. I can't wear wayfarers cos of their angle. I have yet to be able to try the newer styles that don't have the angle. I always have to buy oversized sunglasses because they end up looking normal on my face, whereas on anyone else's, they'd look oversized. :x HAHA.
^^Have you tried the folding wayfarers in the 54 size? Those are my favorite since they have no angle - much better fit on me.
Yeah, haven't found any yet to try on. I'm weird and don't want to order first, just in case I have to return.
^^ I just got my 54mm Wayfarers yesterday ( thanks beauxgoris for the zappos recommendation!) and I love them!!! I have a HUGE round head so I know your problem carousel eyes. Lol. The larger wayfarers, IMO, are really comfy and they don't make my face look weird. 
I have the cats 1000 and they're also pretty big but they fit my face well. I haven't seen the folding wayfarers yet, but I've heard they sit closer to your face.

^^Yay. Glad I could help. I love my 54mm wayfarers too. They look "normal" on my face - LOL. The folding do sit closer - but they regular are easier to get on and off your face (no folding and unfolding). Love them both.
Since we're talking so much about the 54mm's I thought I'd post a few new photos. These taken this past week.
