I just purchased a 2140 but I am quite worried that it is a fake as I noticed a few differences from the pictures on the internet. I bought it from an online store in the UK who also has a physical store so it makes things even worse. It appears to be genuine but, as I said there are a few differences in the packaging

1) There is no recycling logo on the box, but the sticker is there (Image 2)
2) Instruction booklet doesnt appear to have a box for warranty stamp etc (Image 3). Mine also says Luxottica instead of Luxottica Group as in the picture.
3) Somehow there is a K between "Made in Italy" and "CE", whereas in Image 3, there seems to be none.
4) It doesnt come with a warranty card??
Can anyone shade some light on this please? Is it just different in the UK? Also there are two mini booklets introducing Ray-Ban products in the case.

Good news =) They're genuine. Looking at the photos, and I've compared them with my 2 wayfarers which I know are definately genuine. All the temple writing is correct and the case/cloth and little booklets and warranty papers are all spot on. I'm positive they're genuine
