^^Polarized glasses are always lighter. I don't have this model polarized because I like how dark the glasses are. Polarized would be a much lighter grey.

beauxgoris, I asked an optometrist today and he said that the ones with polarized lenses and the L's are nearly the same concerning the glasses, the L's are just 1% darker!

Ask to see them. I had new lenses put in a vintage pair of glasses and my optometrist confirmed that polarized area always lighter. I have 2 pairs for driving, and you can see my eyes through them. You should really try them on in person though and buy what you like.

My optometrist doesn't have them I could order the L's today and get $30 off, but I don't know if I should do it when the glasses are nearly the same ...

^^Ask to see other polarized lenses of any brand. I'm sure they have something you can look at. Go with what you like though - then you'll be happy.
