Oh my god! Thank you for highlighting this. I was looking at her collection and doing some research and I saw her posts on tpf. This is not the type of person I want to be associated with. I will avoid her jewelery collection like a plague.

If it was me I'd at least come back and say sorry , regardless of the reason why she felt she had to post there's no need to talk down to people or insult them (Chinatown bags thing is pretty offensive IMO)
I understand she doesn't want her work copied (if it's original which I'm sure she isn't the first to do those or similar designs) but there's no need to be rude to members here

She's doing nothing original, so she has no right to worry about "copies" and you're right, her attitude and words were unprofessional and absurd.

i totally agree...i think her stuff is beautiful but i would never purchase anything of hers anymore...you would think she would have explained why her pieces are more expensive, instead of going on the attack...i also heard from a nearby jewelry store, that used to carry her stuff...they said she was difficult to work with...so they dropped her

Oh I have met some real headcases that were "designers". Some think they're entitled from the start, others start to become obnoxious when they think they've "made it", like when a major outlet starts to carry their goods. Age and actual success don't impact how they behave and they think they're behaving professionally because they think they're "protecting their image" when all they're really doing is shooting themselves in the head and making no one want to work with them at all. Being gracious goes a long way. So does monitoring your PR, and if it WASN'T her, I think it would've been fixed by now.
