Katie Holmes takes a stroll with her daughter Suri on Saturday (August 6) in Los Angeles.

The 5-year-old cutie pushed one of her dolls in a baby carriage and carried a small purse. Late last month, Suri pushed another one of her dolls in a different carriage!

Katie recently told Marie Claire magazine that Suri is one of her fashion inspirations!

“My daughter has been choosing her own outfits since she was two. We go to fabric stores and sew together. Sometimes I take inspiration from Suri’s fashion choices,” Katie said.

“Suri is my style critic. I know I look good when Suri asks if she can have my outfit when she’s older. Suri is magical when it comes to clothes - she’s quite an artist,” she added.

Nearly a hat trick! Five-year-old fashionista Suri Cruise changes her hats and dresses TWICE in one day
She is one of then most fashionable five-year-olds in the world.

So it was hardly a surprise then, that little Suri Cruise changed her outfit twice in one day as she stepped out in New York in two different hats and dresses.

The mini fashionista teamed a black hat with a pink faux fur coat, purple dress and matching shoes as she left her apartment yesterday.

The trendy youngster was nearly clad from top to toe in designer outfits, with the hat designed by Armani, the dress from DKNY Kids and matching Venettini moccasins.

However, the pink furry coat was from high street store H & M.

Suri clutched her nanny's hand while holding on to her favourite American Girl doll.

But later, it seems clothes loving Suri got a bit bored with her outfit.

She changed into a bright pink hat with flower design, a blue tiered ruffle dress from Gap Kids, a pink hat, gold mini heels and a purple clutch.

Suri's mother Katie Holmes was later seen carrying her daughter to her car, wearing a minidress, boots and cardigan.

She has previously discussed her daughter's love of fashion, claiming she has already displayed excellent sartorial taste.

'My daughter has been choosing her outfits since she was two,' she told Marie Claire.

'She's magical when it comes to clothes - quite an artist.'

Suri's extensive wardrobe is thought to be worth in the region of $2 million

The Top Chef host and her 18-month-old daughter Krishna Thea ate lunch at famed New York City eatery Pastis and then shopped at Whole Foods.

Krishna seemed to be more than happy with her day, and gave her 40-year-old mum a kiss to thank her while the two waited to cross the street at a stop light.

Unlike Jen and her girls, however, Padma and Krishna looked like birds of a feather: both wore brightly-hued pink dresses.

Jessica Alba and her mom Catherine took Honor Marie and headed over to the Century City mall in Los Angeles. The three of them enjoyed drinks from Coffee Bean as they did some shopping together.

She was spotted running in heels as she hurried to her gymnastics class yesterday.

And today Suri Cruise continued to dress well beyond her years as she tried on her favourite red lipstick for a day out in Manhattan.

The five-year-old stepped out with lashings of scarlet on her lips, and a rather grown-up outfit which included a handbag, pink bowler and matching scarf, which she draped around her arms.

Of course, Suri is already a dab hand when in comes to make-up - she was first pictured in lipstick at just three years of age.
