Presale is going on now. An SA contacted me about it. I'm not sure when the sale goes through, but he knew I wanted this bag, and he just took my information.Veryyyyyy nice!!! Btw how did you purchase it for sale? I thought the sale starts March 5th?
Ok thanks so much for letting me know!! As long as the magnets won’t open on a whim I am ok with that. The rest of the important stuff I’ll keep in the zippered pocket.I can't get the quote to work, so I'll just reply to Jans19 and say yes, the magnets that keep each side of the Cass shoulder bag are good, strong magnets. They won't come open, but remember that each side (even closed) of the bag is just closed by a magnet, and your stuff could still conceivably come out as while the bag is closed via magnet closure.
That's what I do with this style. I keep my wallet and other valuables in the zippered compartment and keep other items in the side pockets. That's worked for me for about 25 years! I'm referring to Madison/Phoebe/Edie styles and also the Rogue in some respects.Ok thanks so much for letting me know!! As long as the magnets won’t open on a whim I am ok with that. How has is worn? Have you used it much? Thinking of buying right now as I have a saks coupon expiring shortly... making this bag 266.00!Yep!!!
I used it for about 2 months before I changed. I really love it and may buy another. How has is worn? Have you used it much? Thinking of buying right now as I have a saks coupon expiring shortly... making this bag 266.00!
Oh boy..... I just may pull the trigger, I didn’t buy last night so my coupon expired. What color did you get? It does just seem so luscious..... but can’t find much talk on it, so not sure if was popular. I’m not a fan of that old Phoebe, Edie look.... as seems so generic to me, but this upgraded 1941 version got my attention when first released.I used it for about 2 months before I changed. I bought the oak color. Leather is terrific, and I like the lock and other features.Oh boy..... I just may pull the trigger, I didn’t buy last night so my coupon expired. What color did you get? pictures please!I got the pine color from the coach sale and the bag arrived today. Wow, it is gorgeous! Even my husband, who never notices my purses, stopped and said that’s a really nice purse! To me, the color is... something that changes depending on the lighting.
Love how the leather feels, and there is substantial leather in this bag, but it doesn’t make it heavy. The adjustable handles and other details like the lock and keyholder are so pretty too! I’m pretty surprised there’s not much about it here on the forum!

Would you say the leather is like the bandit and are they about the same size? I think Bandit appears bigger but haven't seen Cass yet. I haven't been buying and more on a purge mode.I have a black cass that I used for a few months before changing into my cassie. I was nowhere near gentle with it and it still looks fantastic I believe. I may go as far as saying it got most of its “wear” from the straps being folded into the bag while it’s stored.
