I vote for the watch. It just seems like you're getting more for the same price. You're getting a beautiful piece of jewelry that also has function (this is also what my practical husband told me when I was decicing between a ring and a watch for a push present). I wasn't a watch person either, but I became one once I got my Rolex and wear it everyday.

I was a bangle girl and not a watch person before I met my DH, he got a rolex two. Weeks after we engage. I was not the watch person either. Now, I am watch addict, total of 4 now. I can't remember when was the last time I wore any bangles.

I would pick the stainless steel Tank rather than Love. You will get more of the money from the watch, it's more practical. Everyone should have a high end watch. You will grow in love with watch.
