I've been bemoaning my naked wrists for awhile soon, and am really hoping to get something from Cartier when I go on a cruise soon.

I had been planning on a YG or RG Love bracelet. I honestly think this is the only high end bracelet I would ever get, since I tend to take bracelets off without realizing it, and that isn't possible with this one obviously.

But, now I've been thinking, for that much money I could get a Tank watch, which I've admired for years. I'm not much of a watch person, but I always thought if I were going to get a great watch, that's the one I'd want.

So, my big dilemma on the watch is that my price range would either put me in a YG with a leather strap or a SS. I never wear any WG or silver, so a SS watch would be a big departure for me. I do find the watch SO classic and beautiful though, that I wonder if maybe I would be able to embrace the SS? The leather strap is nice, it's just not exactly what I was thinking for my 'forever' watch.

It will all probably come down to price and availability, and what I think when I see them on my wrist, but any opinions are welcome!!!

And another vote for Love!
- The Tank has such a different look with a leather strap
- You are not really a watch person
- You are not into stainless
- This is an everyday bracelet: very classic and it will not bore you

Another vote for the Love bracelet since it will be YG and you're a YG person. Don't think you would like the watch as much since it won't be YG. Since you never wear WG or SS, just don't think the watch is a good choice. Go for the bracelet!!! It is lovely.

This is a tough one. I have both - watch came first. I am a watch lover (not necessarily a collector) but wear one everyday/all day. I really enjoy my Tank F. especially in the summer months as it is a great weight and I'm not driving myself crazy when your skin gets sticky. Having said that.....I also have the Love bangle and love that too. I love the practicality of this bracelet and even though the 'thought' of having something locked on me freaked me out at first, I've gotten quite use to it. IF you need and will use a watch, I do that first and would be OK with the SS factor (but your comfort level with that needs to be sure though). The YG Love bracelet is also a keeper. Ummmm, I"m thinking I'm not helping very much. Good luck with your decision!

Since you don't wear a watch anyway, go with the love bracelet! It serves better as decor rather than the watch IMO, slightly less 'prepped up' if you understand what I'm trying to say lol. More relaxed chic.

I lovee my Tank, and in your position would have opted for the Tank... but I can't get by without a watch! So in your case, definitely a love bracelet.

PS. Please no leather on the Tank! But I think you got through that. :p

Okay Im gonna say the watch. I just think for the same amount of money a watch seems to be a better investment than the bracelet. Although I personally love both anyway, but if I can only choose one then the watch first.
Does the tank come in a two-tone version? It has some gold color in it and it might go well w/ your other jewelries.

:D:D:D lannes - you know what got me thinking about the leather strap? Angelina Jolie. But you're right, I like it much better in metal.
