^^ thanks ladies! there was an older gentleman there who was buying for his daughter i think, and he saw what i got and he said (after being there for almost 2 hours hearing me deliberating the Cartier and Jaeger), "i thought for sure you would choose the Cartier. Im glad you picked the Jager, its not all the time i see younger ladies pick the subtle over the bling".
I believe he picked out a Vacheron for his daughter (lucky kid, lol).

Im happy bout the watch, i might even put the black strap on let darling hubby use it from time to time (as it is a man's watch ,lol)

Not sure which Reverso you got (the ladies one is definitely too small for your husband to wear) but congrats it's a great choice. We almost have the same choice (Cartier and JLC) and I can understand why you're still wanting the Cartier. Every woman at some stage of her life must own a Cartier watch.

My partner already has her JLC, but for the next watch we're planning on Cartier Santos Dumont in rose gold (it's very pretty, you should try it on if you happen to go to Cartier boutique). But anyway congrats on the JLC - it's the watch you will love until you're a grandma!

i tried that yesterday! But i did not quite like it... Im not sure whats up buyt ive been feeling vintage lately-- for bags, jewelry, home decorations, etc.. well except clothing lol.

I tried on a Santos gold and ss, with the Octagon face from their pre-owned selection and i think i like it... The SA was actually telling me for the price, i can get a brand new tank... but i really like the octagon face... we shall see. i put it on hold and i will mull it over..

but i AM loving the JLC!! there is something to be said for its quiet, subdued elegance.
