I think what makes me 80% convinced to go towards the ring is how small the diamonds are for the cost. But I also don’t know if that’s normal for pave. Whereas the frivole has bigger diamonds. I guess though to set the diamonds in the panthere takes more expertise than the frivole pendant?

I am confused. You’re convinced towards it because the diamonds are small for the cost? As in you find it too small for the price or it’s big for the price? LOL. The frivole does have bigger diamonds but not by much. I think they’re around the same ish. Tbh I felt the panthere’s diamonds were bigger than other pave diamonds (pave juc in reg and thin, serpenti, etc). But! If you are not 100% convinced I would just wait and keep shopping around. When you get to the point you keep coming back to a particular item, then just bite the bullet to purchase. That typically happens to me!

No… meaning I’m not 100% sure bc of the size of the diamonds. Like I had said previously, I am not sure what’s the standard for pave, since I don’t typically buy pave. I usually buy larger diamonds. Since the stores are different, I can’t exactly hold them side by side. There isn’t an online cert for me to compare the two. It’s completely sensible for me to try to evaluate the pieces in terms of ctw and complexity. I have not looked at the JUC or serpenti, so I can’t comment on that either. I obviously enjoy both designs and the reality is I will end up wanting to purchase both eventually. I don’t know which one should be first.

Since I’m not fully convinced and want to make the right decision, I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I actually went today and the diamonds are the same size. Vca’s middle diamond is comparable to the panthere big diamond. The diamond ctw is online

Where is the largest stone on the panthere? I am aware of the total CTW and they are different. As you can see below, the online descriptions don’t break down the individual diamond size.

That's really a convincing argument

Just chose what your heart feels otherwise you will regret it later (I sadly know that having made that mistake a few times).
Scheurin- were you the one who had two panthere rings? The one which really makes my heart sing that I tried pm last time was this—

But this not the time for this sort of purchase 😂😂 I was looking at the gold version earlier this week with the onyx spots. I wonder how the yellow gold thicker panthere next to the pave smaller panthere would look like. Might be excessive, but might be deliciously excessive. 👀👀

It’s at the top of the head- comparable to the stone in the middle for VCA. But the panthere has smaller and more diamonds, which is why VCA has a bigger carat count (less but larger on the petal). But if you’re concerned about the size, you def won’t find clarity/ diamond info from the stores. They use a range of diamonds (DEF for VCA), (DEFGH for Cartier). they won’t put that much effort into exact clarity since they’re pave.

Yes, in fact there are 3: REG WG, REG WG full pavé and REG RG half pavé. For me the latter was my mistake as I always wanted the full pavé one but was initially afraid by its high price tag. However, I did not think about the comments above that the half pavé has its own beauty.

As for the medium panthère bracelet the half pavé is a beauty, too, as the diamonds open up to the rest of the bracelet. Not easy to see on the pic attached - from the Cartier website.

Btw. on WG the diamonds shine / sparkle much more than on the RG background.

Do you own the panthere bracelet already or is that just a try on? I like the panthere ring more than the necklace but if you already own the bracelet maybe the variety of the frivole would be better. If you don’t have the bracelet, buy the bracelet!!! lol it looks more striking to me. Sorry I’m no help!

I absolutely love the Frivole pendant with your necklace current stack. That definitely gets my vote. The ring is just ok as I actually prefer the pave Serpenti ring over this one.

I have the bangle! It’s subtle but already feels like it’s shrunk on me so I wonder if the thicker panthere ring would be better for me but the price point just kills me. I don’t think I would be comfortable wearing it daily right now so I don’t know which way to go still.

Panthere Panthere Panthere! i have the YG partial pave version of that ring and absolutely love it. It's comfortable, blingy, but because only partially covered in diamonds does not lose the iconic Panthere shape. One of my favorite and most worn pieces. Bonus...my mom has the big version of it
I’m thinking of purchasing this exact ring… since it’s not full pave, are you able to wear it next to another ring (on another finger, not stacked I mean)?
