Hello everyone, as some of you might remember I was torn between the Tank Francaise small vs midsize and also the Roadster and a few weeks ago I received my new watch -- midsize tank -- and am loving it more and more each day.
It is so understated that I had to actually get used to it, but as the days go by I find it SO classy and extremely timeless!! So very glad I went with the Tank as opposed to the Roadster because it is so versatile to go from day to night. As a matter of fact, for anyone who might be interested in getting the Tank Francaise in the midsize who may have concerns about it being dressy enough to wear for dressy occasions, IT IS! I had a wedding and it actually looked MORE dressy with a dress but at the same time looks less dressy with jeans. I was even surprised being that it was the midsize. I will try to attach a picture.

Glad that you decided on the Tank, I think it's classier than the Roadster. Roadster looks rather casual and due to the 'bulging' design and polished dial, perhaps that could be the reason why it's more prone to scratches.

I have a tank francaise (ss with pink MOP face) and I really think it is the perfect classic watch and one every woman should own. It is elegant, feminine and can be worn day or night. I wear mine almost daily now for 5 years and it looks brand new. Hardly a scratch and this watch is not baby-ed. It's one of the reasons I hold Cartier in such high esteem, they make an amazing quality product. Enjoy your watch!
