Did you ask the SA what he/she meant by “get stretched”? How can a bangle of this style be stretched? Or could this piece you’ve tried on is the cuff ? (If it has correlation).
Sorry I meant “scratched” not “stretched”. Been spiraling on the sizes for weeks now, and rely can’t make up my mind.

Most SA I meet suggest to go for a tighter fit since they said “this is how you wear the piece, it should feel snug”. But I also want to be comfortable wearing this day and night.

I’m 5’9 with a curvy body shape, definitely trying to lose weight which also worried that 19 will be too big if I lose weight. But I also heard your wrist size don’t change as much as your fingers, is been quite a journey to drill down on the sizing 😮‍💨

It is dependent on person and how much weight you lose. As someone who has lost 30lbs and has kept it off, I am glad that I waited to purchase my expensive pieces after the weight was off and kept off. If you can wait to make your purchases until after you lose weight and are able to maintain that loss, then I would. I have several bracelets that are annoyingly too big on me now (a few still fit, but are too loose for my liking; and it is too expensive to re-size them. A few are too big and fall off). More than anything: Be happy and healthy. Good luck with your weight loss journey and with deciding on your bracelet!

Thank you. I’m purchasing now mainly because there’s a price increase in my place soon, and is a piece that I’ve been eyeing on for a long time!

I’ve been telling myself to get it until I lose the weight for the past two years, but my weight keep going other way around 😅

Oh, I’ve been there with both! And these price increases are brutal! If you don’t plan to stack, you’re likely okay with the bigger one. It will be looser, but so be it. As long as it doesn’t slip off, I see no issue. It really is better to get the size you feel most comfortable with. I did that with my old bracelets from Tiffany - I was able to wear them for years. Now, I wear them a bit less because they are loose. The ones that slip off are costume jewellery, so I feel less bad about those ones. Again, just be happy and healthy and go with the one that you will feel the most comfortable with. If the smaller one is just too tight, it might be safer to just get the bigger one. I wish they just made half sizes!

I am also 5’9” with a curvy body shape. Wrist measures 16.5 at the wrist bone. I would chose slightly loose over too tight ALL DAY LONG. My JUC is an 18 and it is nice and bangle-y. The Love equivalent would be a 19 according to their chart (and I am thinking of getting one so I keep looking). You also would not believe how quickly stacking makes things feel tighter.

If you swell at all, take that into account. Most of us do and some more than others. Hot weather also makes you sticky and tight things don’t feel great.

Anyway, I think the 19 looks great on you and that’s my vote, but you have to be comfortable with it. Good luck!

Would like you all's advice on sizing since this is my very first Cartier piece - wrist measure is 17cm, been debating if I should go with 18 or 19.
Just my opinion, but I think the sweet spot is to go up 1.5 cm. Since that is not an option, I’d recommend the 19 cm bangle if that’s all you plan on wearing.
I always preferred a loose fit and originally went up 2.5 cm instead of 1.5. This was not good for stacking. My two loves always loosened and my JUC’s nail head was flattened on one side.
I could live with that but I lost 40 lbs and they became way too big. So much so, the JUC would unlatch and fall off when it would twist and hit my wrist bone.
Resizing all three was an expensive lesson. I ended up going down two sizes. (I wasn’t going to pay the fee just to go down one size. lol) It didn’t take long to get used to. They don’t loosen and my JUC looks fine since there’s a lot less movement.

Having said all that, if you do plan on shedding some pounds and don’t mind how it feels right now, I’d choose the smaller one. It still fits you currently and you will get used to the tighter fit.

Update here:

Thanks for everyone’s input! Ended up getting size 19, and it has been almost two months wearing it straight, and I must say, I’m so glad that I’m getting the larger size. It definitely feels very comfortable when I’m working out, whereas it feels loose when I’m not moving around. Overall, very glad I went with the looser fit and am already thinking to stack it with VCA (their default size is also 19cm!)!!

Hi guys! I need your advice. My wrist is 15-15.2cm. Wich size is better for me - 16 or 17? On photo size 17 fits too loosely, and 16 is tight 😕
I would say definitely 17, these look to fit how a 16 and a 17 do on me. I had the 16 for about a week and while the first day I thought it was fine after a few days it felt too restrictive to me and I returned it (was preowned so was able to return to the jeweller I bought it from with no problems) I’ve had a 17 for 5 years now and so pleased I went that way!
