I don't know it seems like you have the perfect collection for you and have always turned down the rose gold in the past. Honestly three seems like alot if you're stacking. I prefer the plain without diamonds since to me that is the iconic design. I gotta say I love your jewelry collection and we have a few of the same pieces but when I read this and please please don't take this wrong I sort of wondered if you were just kindof shopping out of boredom or to finish a "collection?". You usually seem more certain and in love with things. N

And since you mentioned grad school. I've always been of the opinion that it is better to tone things down in school for a variety of reasons. And yes safety would be a concern as well.

You know. I just re-read all the posts and I kind of really agree with this one... mostly because of your original post Cory! You wrote:

"I'm thinking of adding a Rose Gold (which has never been been my favorite cos for some reason I've always chosen YG over RG when looking for a WG alternative item...I even switched out my Cartier Ballon Bleu Rose Gold medium watch to the Yellow Gold version a week or so after) but figured it is a good trio to have and Rose Gold is very special to the Cartier namesake."

These are all super expensive - especially the pave ones! But you sound like you're really only buying one so you can say you have all three colours or because rose gold is a Cartier thing, even though you've admitted you don't really love it! Now I'm a great one to enable people and if you love something I'll be the first to say go for it! But I kind of vote with LeeMiller - I think you shouldn't buy another love ... ESPECIALLY not the RG pave or 10 diamonds one "just because"... it really sounds like you're trying to TALK YOURSELF into buying one!! I think you should wait to find something YOU really really love! Otherwise it'll just end up sitting in your jewelry box all sad and lonely... LOL...

I had not read through the entire thread but this is great advice given your circumstances.
You must have a healthy money tree to be a grad student:smile1:

I'm having a hard time deciding given all the options. I do love the pave but it is an incredible amount of money and since you said that you would wear it all the time or not really wear it, that makes my opt for another choice. I think the pave is nothing short of amazing and you could pull it off but I would honestly be worried about having something that expensive on my wrist 24/7 although you do have the option to to take it off without the screw driver. It does seem like your goal is to have a Cartier trifecta and I think a few diamonds thrown into the mix of your 2 plain would be gorgeous. So, I think my choice would be 10 diamond but I personally love the 4 diamond more because you have diamonds but still have the screws and I kind of think that the 4 diamond may tie in your 2 plain better because you still have some screws.
