This happened to my Love bracelet..My DD was messing with it and tryed to open it with only one screw undone..!!! Cartier fixed it without any probelms...!

I spoke to Cartier on the phone today.. I believe is is going to be $500 to fix....At least it's fixable!! They said they are going to put new prongs and screws on it. Once I sign the repair papers it will be about 2-3 weeks till I get it back.

i am really happy to hear that they're able to fix it, but it's gonna cost $500? wow....i imagine it'll look as good as new though.

I know this is an old thread. It happened to mine too and it wasn’t even very old. I can’t believe they charged that much to fix it should be free. Mine is in a different country at my Mum’s house. I will be very cross if they want $500 to fix something that is obviously faulty.

This happened to mine too! I went to Cartier today and they said it would most likely cost 1/3 of a new bracelet- between $2000 and $3000. I couldn’t believe it! And have to send to NY to get the exact estimate. I’m going to find a jewelry repair place near me and see if they can fix it. Ugh!!!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. May be wait until you get an actual estimate and decide. It may not be as much as they think.
