Cartier Love Bangle - It's either this or that. How?

Hello TPF'ers..... I know I'll be able to come to a decision after hearing from you all. I am now ready to buy my first LOVE jewellery, but... I just can't decide. I have the funds for either (1) or (2), not both, so please don't tempt me to get all three!!!

1) YG or RG with 4 diamonds - GBP6525
2) 1 YG/orRG + 1 WH (no diamonds) - total GBP8400 (for 2 plain bangles)
(The cost of the 4 small diamonds is an additional GBP2475 from the plain!)

What do I do now? I nearly bought the RG with diamonds last night if not for the fact that the only pair has a set of serial numbers which is totally inauspicious for us Chinese - not that I am supersititious but it was pointed out to me. So the boutique is sourcing for another bangle for me.

Oh, I just learnt about the new screws system. How's this going? Still lots of complains about the screws coming loose in a day? I can still change my mind on the purchase.

I prefer option number 2, I think the Love bracelet is just bueatiful as it is without any diamonds.. but my suggestion would be to get 1 plain YG bangle and something else with the rest of the money :graucho:

Or maybe get 1 and test to see if you really love it then get the second..

i prefer option 2 as i either like the love bracelets completely plain or all pave, i don't like having the screw motif covered by a whole diamond. but that is very subjective!! also do you like stacking them together? if so, option #2. i assume when you wrote 'WH' you meant 'WG'?

Lovefour, may I know how long have you been wearing yours? No issues with the screws coming loose??? I'm so disappointed having learnt about this issue and I am about to call up my SA to stop her sourcing. Just too much money for this flaw. I'm heartbroken.

Anyone else with issues on the new screw system? Or no issues at all?? Should I go for it? The bangle will be here today if I buy, after deliberating for 3 years!!! Helpppp!

I think this is a very personal decision.
What do YOU like? Do you prefer the bangle with or without diamonds?
I like both, the plain version and the diamond version, so I guess I am not much help here :p. If I had to pick one, I would pick a Rainbow Love bracelet though, because that's the one I like the most. But that's just me, you should go for the one that makes your heart sing ;).

I can't comment on the new system, as I have no experience with that, so maybe others can help you with this question.

I have been wearing mine for 6 months and was told to tighten it after one week of wear which I ran into Cartier they checked it tightened it and told me enjoy and I never take it off or worry. A friend of mine bought hers a year ago also no issues never tightens or worries. We both bought ours in the USA not sure where the problems are but luckly we are fine!
