I love both of your wedding bands!!!!! Do you feel with the new one (thrilled for you that you got it at a great price btw) since it looks more squared any way, that it would need to be with worn with a special style engagement ring?
I just had 4 diamonds come out of my wedding band and am thinking about starting all over. I love your newest wedding band, but I am really having a hard time imagining what engagement ring I could put with your wb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!!
After seeing the pictures I am really leaning towards the pink gold with the alternating diamonds and pink sapphires. I LOVE that!!!!!!! I'm kind of nervous though to go from all platinum to all rose gold... Decisions, decisions...
Thanks again!
Thanks to all of you for the sweet comments. I just want to add that I love both of my wedding bands so much and I rotate between them according to clothes and other hardware I am wearing (yeah I'm a bit matchy matchy and I still can't mix metals :shamethat's why I needed both a white and a yellow gold band
Thank you dear! Let me start by saying that I am using these 2 bands as everyday/work bands, I wear them alone (without the e ring). For my e ring I wear a full eternity band (pave diamonds). But I think that this lanieres band would look lovely with any e ring. Its dainty so it will go with mostly everything, but if it was me, I'd love it with a solitaire that has a princess cut diamond
For the color, as I meantioned before I like to have variety, a white gold/platinum one and a yellow/rose gold one.
The alternating rose gold one is definately TDF! I say try it on in the boutique if that's possible and see for yourself if you love the color on you.
I'm sorry if I'm no help, but this is always the case with jewelry, everything is just too gorgeous and you are always left torn and undecided
Good luck!
^ I forgot to mention that the band you are looking at in particular (pink sapphires and diamonds) would match any e ring easily, I think that the stones make the squares less obvious, if that makes any sense.
Check out Catabie's set on page 1 of this thread, its lovely!
Thank you for your response. I have a 3.28 round, but I agree a princess would look awesome with the lanieres band!!!! I looked at Cartier's website (sadly I live no where near a Cartier Boutique) and the ring is 3mm wide. But when I look at this ring and your Love ring too, they look thick. So many engagement rings including mine are not very thick and it's hard for me to imagine them together. To be honest I was surprised to hear you call this ring delicate. Is there any chance you could take a picture with your engagement ring? Thanks again for all your help and time!!!
The Love band is 4 mm and the Lanieres is 3 mm as you mentioned. Delicate might be a subjective term, what is considered delicate for some might be on the thicker side for others, but honestly, I think that its width makes it suitable to be worn with an e ring. It all depends on one's personal preference after all
I'll post some photos for you tomorrow![]()
I quite agree it is all subjective. I still so value your opinion as you have it on your lovely hand and I can't even see it let along touch it. So thank you for your description. Does it have a heft or a good weight to it?
I would love to see the photo's tomorrow. You are the best.![]()
Yes, it does
I'll include a photo of that too for you reference![]()
That's what I was hoping you would say
Thank you again!!!!!
This photo to show you the thickness of the band. Hope that hepls!

OMG Your wedding set it absolutely stunning!!!!! I love it!!!! You have the most beautiful hands tooI love how thick the Lanieres band is- you have been amazing with all of your descriptions and all of your help with these pictures now too. Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!! I can't tell if it is of course that they are 2 different colored metals, but I think I like the band by itself more... The only other thing that I can think of doing to make it work would be a wider engagement ring that is more flat than rounded???
Thank you again for all of your help and enjoy all of your beautiful jewels. You truly have a stunning collection!!!!!![]()
