Agreed that it is dependent on your look and lifestyle. Although, I would think most people have enough sense to remove jewellery if they're going to the gym, or hopping in the shower.

JUC is my first choice. I like the JUC because it's simple and chic. I'm more casual in style on my off-days for me and seldom need to dress up. At most, you can go cocktail with it, especially if it's the regular size. I think it's chunky enough for a statement. If you work in a more formal office setting and like to be dressier on your off-days, Van Cleef is nice. I can see it being paired with a beautiful sundress for a day out, or suited up. It just won't do jeans-and-tee casual.

I’m working on an bank as law specialist so it’s casual. I’m a casual working mom. I didn’t go out too much. But for me both of them can be worn with casual outfit and for an event that’s my main problem

Both are lovely choices, so I don’t think you can go wrong either way! I disagree that the VCA can’t be dressed down, a blogger on YouTube (Style Hard) wears the Magic Alhambra in white gold/MOP and it looks stunning on her even with really casual clothes, it just depends on your personal style.

I have variations of both your options and wear my JUC ring the most, however that’s because I always wear earrings and find that my Magic Alhambra only really goes with my diamond studs. I like to vary my earrings and often wear drops, so the JUC is easier to pair with whatever earrings I’m wearing on a given day.

^Just to add that I voted for the VCA as i think it will work for dressy or casual wear, whereas the JUC (just in my opinion) is really only for casual wear. You could always add the JUC later. The necklace will elevate your day to day look and it is a classic piece which will also hold its value.

I just had this dilemma but with the VCA mini sweet Alhambra bracelet or a small JUC ring - I went with the VCA as I have some cartier pieces already but no VCA - I still plan on buying the JUC ring sometime next year, but thought I'd love something from a new brand now It's getting wrapped and put under the christmas tree when it arrives!

I think you’re right and I thin VCA alhambra is Timeless as juste un clou is Maybe more trendy but will it stays forever ? Don’t know

I think you’re right I prefer necklace for now. But I love JUC as it’s bring something to your style.VCA is more classic piece. Maybe will try the JUC SM. Did you try it ?

did you try the small JUC ring ? Because I’m wondering if I can buy VCA necklace and JUC small size. I like small piece. All my jewels pieces are small.

Sounds like you're leaning towards the necklace. That's my vote as well! I feel like a necklace adds a little extra brightness to your face. But then again, I don't like wearing things on my hands/fingers. My husband always jokes he buys me an "engagement necklace" or "wedding necklace" because my engagement ring/wedding band sit at home in the safe.
