Cartier JUC bracelet or Bulgari Serpenti Viper bracelet?

I voted JUC, since I love the JUC (& I don't like snakes). But ultimately it's what makes you happy. It doesn't matter which one is newer/older, more common/less common, etc. You'll be the one wearing it and looking at it. What does your gut (or heart) say? When you look at them, which one makes you happier? That's the one you should pick.

The Serpenti looks like a standalone piece. Makes a statement. I voted for JUC before looking at pics. I would choose the Serpenti if you love it more. What does your heart say?

The JUC has been on my wishlist for a few years. I don't like showing off labels and appearing overly branded, hence my hesitation with the JUC.

Where I live, girls who carry designer bags with the logos on full show are not very classy (eg LV monogrammed bags) . I wonder if Cartier JUC would come across the same way, or would the general population not know the design is Cartier?

I vote for serpenti as it has diamonds. But if you have enough budget to buy JUC with diamonds, I’d go with JUC!
Also heard that cartier has better quality than bulgari

1. Bvlgari quality is better than cartier .. especially with diamonds .. you get way more carat of diamonds for what you pay with Bvlgari than Cartier

2. Cartier love and JUC range are soo common these days, insta is flooded with cartier - if you arelooking for exclusivity then Bvlgari

They are at the same level of quality. Both are renowned global giants of jewelry makers and were founded in the same era (Cartier 1847; Bulgari 1884). One is French brand and the other one is Italian.

You're right, Insta being full of Cartier JUC is the reason I am hesitating. On the streets though, I hardly see anyone wearing it.

Maybe in real life it's not as common as I think it is!

The algorithm on IG is set to show you what you like anyway. I will say once you have one you will start noticing it on other people but I see more Loves than JUCs - didnt stop me from buying and wearing either piece (: ***Editing to say I would still go with the Serpenti for now though!

Cartier is all over IG, YT, & "influencers", but social media does not equate to real life. LOL. And like @GucciGoneWild said, the algorithms are created to show you what they think you want to see on your explore feed, ads, etc.

I immediately clicked your thread because I am in the same situation . I have a Love and I really like the new Serpent. I was checking out Bulgari for the last years and this is a piece I can see me wearing.

For me personally, the JUC is no option, but I like it on others and stacked a lot. I like the idea, that I stack my Love with a not so common (at least in my area) Piece.

Do you think both gold tones look nice together?

Serpenti Viper in a smaller size than what is depicted above

i bought the serpenti tubogas pave head and tail (the last one at the boutique) and a serpent viper Demi pave ring, both 18K RG, but I tried on the other watches, bracelets and rings from the current serpenti viper line too. IMO the serpenti pieces are far more fabulous IRL than any photo. The soon to be discontinued Serpenti Tubogas fitted my wrist the best; was the most comfortable (more comfortable than the Tubogas watches; and was more my personality. but, I love the serpenti viper on others here on TPF.

IMO, a size smaller in the Serpenti Viper is needed for a truly fair comparison with the Cartier JUC. The pic of the viper above is simply too large for OP’s wrist. I think the current viper can be easily worn as an everyday bracelet; it is the most modern iteration of a classic Bulgari line.

@Le Lion, IMO Bulgari RG is less rosy than Cartier RG and can be mixed with YG as per my pic below. I am 5’2, medium build, and the different tones worn together seem to coordinate, up close as well as full body pic.

Although I’m leaning towards JUC since I have one and love it so much, but based on your picture I think serpenti looks way better. As many people pointed out that JUC is masculine vs serpenti is more dressy. If you like to wear a dressy piece then go with Serpenti. You can rock the piece so well, it looks classy and elegant on your wrist.

Youre right, the Serpenti on my opening post was too big but they didn't have my size in stock so I had to try on a larger size.
