Cartier Jewelry which you do not plan to purchase and why so.

I believe we are in this group because we fancy Cartier. For me, Cartier tops my chart on jewelry brand.

And I'm curious what are the type/s of Cartier jewelry you would not be adding? Not so much on a whole collection/line but types of accessories. For example, I will not spend my money on Cartier earrings nor necklace as they don't give me good happy index. Not that they ain't pretty. But I just don't fancy wearing earrings/necklace but even if I do, it will be just that one forever piece/pair which I already have.

This strikes me as I was catching up with my aunt who is quite a collector on fine jewelry. She has quite a few Love bracelets for example, however she will never consider Love earrings because she prefers other styles (VCA to be exact).

What's yours?

Interesting thread! I love Cartier bracelets but I will never consider purchasing “doubles” (or more). What I mean is, I will never buy a second Love bracelet, or another JUC bracelet. I have my one and only from each collection, so don’t feel the need to add more, whether it’s in a different size, color, style, diamonds vs. no diamonds, etc.

The Love bracelet for me! It's very important for me to be able to remove my jewelry daily, both for comfort as well as for work, so unfortunately the Love bracelet doesn't work out for me.

Hmm I'd say earrings, for the lobe, because I don't feel they suit me (would def buy the single JUC for my helix though!).

I for one likes repeat haha. I'm those who will buy arrays of colors if that dress, shoes, etc suits me.

however, to add to this thread, i will not consider RG and as for WG, I'm still very impartial.

This morning took a photo while waiting for the green man. I think Cartier YG suits best on me and I'm not quite willing to deviate (to WG/RG).

I don’t prefer the small version of both Love and JUC. I also don’t prefer multiples of the same bracelet on one arm. Although I can admire other larger stacks on others, I prefer to keep it simple with the original size of Love and JUC alone or stacked together with something simple.

but other than that I’m hesitant to say what it wouldn’t buy. Because when the clash collection first came out I hated it. It reminded me of a centipede or vertebrae. But now I actually like it and it’s on my radar lol.

Very true, if I had to choose a pair of Cartier earrings, it would be the Clash.
I am a little worried about their weight though. I don't like heavy earrings cus I don't want to stretch my piercings too much.

I have the small hoops, they aren't too heavy but not lightweight, I definitely wouldn't be able to handle the larger hoops.

I would actually love to know if the Clash hoops make audible noise due to their intricate pieces moving. I can hear my Clash ring if I shake my hand, so I’m curious about the earring experience. Anyone have thoughts?

I am also generally not tempted by necklaces or earrings at Cartier except for these small hoops.

I won’t buy any Cartier earrings. I tried on some pairs (Ecrou and Clash) but I noticed Cartier does a lot of hoops (I’m not a hoops gal at all) and I’m not a fan of the pousette backs. I prefer Van Cleef for earrings.

I also decided I won’t buy anything Ecrou although I can appreciate it on others. Also not a fan of the Panther line.

Once I get my small Clash and maybe the Clash ring, I’m pretty sure I’ll be done with Cartier. I wouldn’t mind a white gold love cuff or a JUC ring but I don’t think I would feel comfortable wearing four bracelets at once (physically comfortable rather than emotionally comfortable) and I really don’t need another piece from the JUC line.
