Cartier clash earrings or Love Earrings with 3 diamond?

I think if I had to choose between clash or love I would get clash because from afar love looks like any other hoop earring you can get and clash is more unusual. I choose the trinity because the design is original to Cartier (even though there are copies from various brands) it is the most classic, never goes out of style and been around for a long time!

I used to be very wild and into punk and extremely edgy, now I try and dress elegant. HA! These would be a nice daily hoop to wear.

I can barely see the clash on you but I'm still voting for them ha! I think if you're style is inching toward being more elegant the clash work as a statement piece for that. Versus going with the love and it all kind of just kind of blends together as it should.

I like both the Clash and the Love hoops on you. I think you wear them both beautifully!

I vote for the Clash mainly because I think it is a little more interesting than the Love.

I do think the Love is very simple and classic. It will go with everything.
But if you think about it, it's a gold hoop with diamonds. Not as unique as the Clash. Also, it would annoy me that I would not be able to see the diamonds that well. Especially how Cartier hikes up prices a ton once they add diamonds to anything.

Just make sure the weight works for you! Personally, I am hesitant on solid gold jewelry because I don't like earrings that are too heavy or that may have a tendency to stretch out my piercing holes.

Good luck and happy shopping!

Honestly, both of your "cons" would have me personally saying no to either option, and looking for different earrings altogether. I think at this price point, there should be no "cons" other than the cost itself.

If you are really set on getting one or the other, than I also think the Clash earrings sound like a better fit for your style. It is a version of the old school punk studs, so would be a good fit for your 'punk/edgy-meets-elegance' style (a style after my own heart btw). Also, I agree with your friend and many other previous posters here that the Love earrings are a little boring and can be easily replaced with something much less expensive from something not branded.

Good luck whatever you choose! There are really no wrong choices of course, as it is a matter of taste. Please let us know what you end up going with.

I have those love earrings and adore them! Maybe not as flashy as the clash, but they are the perfect size, not too big, not too heavy and just enough sparkle to add that something without being too much.
They look stunning on you for sure!

I just added the small Clash hoops a few weeks ago and I love them! They make the most subtle noise with movement
any pics? Yes I love the movement so much!

Clash.Clash Clash Clash. Can you tell I like the clash?
yasss lol!

What about the trinity hoops?

Beautiful! Trinity is lovely. I like pave in place of the white gold, lol. They look fab on you!

I like them both on you! While everyone is throwing in more ideas, did you try the thick love hoops? I don’t see them on the US website (must be sold out for now) but found then in europe… they are kind of in between.

TY, they are heavy! But comfortable. The post loosens and then they droop.
