Congrats and happy birthday. Yes, you can swim with it on and it will be fine. Chlorine in pools is really not so good with silver, but with gold you should be fine.

Thanks everyone!! I love it soooooo much! I wore it the first time yesterday and i m already IN LOVE with it..

But.. While carefully looking at it again last night before bed, I noticed there's a long scratch line on it.. It doesn't look like I banged on something but more like it was caused by the screw driver or maybe when I tried to put it away in the pouch, I accidentally scratched it by the 2 sides? Not sure.. But I am kinda upset.. :( I know ultimately it will have scratches but isn't it a bit early?? Will this be fixable? Can I return it and get a different one ? Lol

I would want to take a pic and post here but it's so shinny and can't take a detail pic with my iPhone :(
Aww! That has to sting. IME, almost any scuff or scratch can be polished out. I'd wait until you accumulate a few more though ;)

Yea I've been wearing my love everyday for two weeks now and it's very scratched up :( but I kinda love the scratches but it shows what I've been through everyday and it grows with me... It makes it unique :)

Swimming in the ocean would cause less problems than regular swimming in heated chlorinated pools. Heated chlorinated pools or chlorinated spas particularly can interact with the alloy metals used in gold, leaching out these alloys and weakening the gold over time.

Hey everyone, just want to give a quick update on my love bracelet.. Been wearing it for almost 3 weeks now and it's basically all scratch up but it is still shinny :)

The problem is it's hard to capture with my iPhone..

Anyways.. I think I have like up to 90 days to decide if I want to engrave it or not for the free service.. Thoughts anyone?

Beautiful..I did the engraving after having mine about a couple of months. I can't remember exactly but definitely before the 90 days. Anyway, I had my name engraved and the bracelet came back polished. It doesn't matter really though because 18k is soft and will scratch. But it will still be beautiful. Enjoy your bracelet, it looks lovely with your watch. :smile1:
