As much as I love Cartier for jewelry and watches, I don't get the appeal for their bags. I've heard the leather quality is not that great, and the designs, at least to me, lack creativity. It's like buying a watch from Hermes, a renowned leather goods brand, not watchmaking craftsmanship. I also don't let the ads influence me much but their decision to use Emily in Paris in their campaign (though I'm a big Lily Collins fan) takes away the "quiet luxury" vibe of the brand since Emily is the complete opposite of that.

I do think that grey is quite pretty, doesn’t sway to too cool tone. Hopefully other current colors interest you.

I also have a wallet, more so a card holder, that I’ve used nearly daily for on the go, for about 3 years. I’ll stick in the cup holder of my car, in my back pocket, literally throw it around everywhere and it still looks brand new!!
The leather and everything is impeccable! So I just added a handbag last week! Will add momentarily!
I just added the panthere mini handbag, and I love it! I wanted a true red , to replace my worn out LV “mylockme” handbag which is very similar in style/function. Plus this doesn’t have any glaring brand names at you, unless you know Cartier. Still new, so can’t speak to quality, but I I imagine the quality would be similar to the wallet I have which I’m very pleased with!

I have this one! I never wore it, just admired it because the color was so pretty and the leather was luxurious. My son and husband want me to sell it because I don’t wear bags anymore. It’s just so nice to look at, lol.
OMG I’m obsessed 😍 For your reference inside is 50€ banconote…. My choice is pink… My DH was so nice to buy me one in Japan for our anniversary… still can’t believe indeed that he succeed to find pink color!

Hi! Anyone buy Cartier bags/purses? I kind of like a few that they have out now but am unsure of their quality. I know that price and brand name does not, unfortunately, necessarily equate to quality, so want to check with you folks to see if you have any experience with these.

I have had my Cartier bag for, I think about twelve years now. It's a beautiful, structured, medium-sized grey-ish beige (greige?) bag with minimal branding (most people never know it's a designer bag). It's beautifully made of leather with some snakeskin details. I don't wear it every day and keep it in a bag in my closet when I put it away, but other than that, I don't baby it at all. It looks as new today as the day I bought it.
