Makes me wonder if they couldn't plate it because the ring is joined and it would be hard to do (even if they did it before joining in the RG ring, it might mess up the plating when they do the attaching/soldering process?)

but I agree, WG without rhodium is just awful! I sometimes forget to take my WG ring (with diamonds in; not a LOVE ring, though) for regular maintenance, but I know when it's been too long...it begins to look just awful! :shakes head:
